Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Optional: 1/4 cup lemon curd for drizzling
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture on each triangle of dough.
- Roll up the dough triangles starting from the wider end and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Optionally, drizzle with lemon curd before serving.
