Ingredients:
- 1 package crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely diced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, cream cheese, green onions, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wider end of each triangle, then sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top.
- Roll the dough up starting from the wider end and tuck the ends under to enclose the filling.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each roll with beaten egg to give it a nice golden color when baked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
