Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges for serving
Directions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
