Homemade Peach Jam

  1. Ingredients:
    • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)


    1. In a large saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, and lemon juice. Mix well.
    2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.
    3. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the jam has thickened, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
    4. If using, stir in the cinnamon during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
    5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and seal. Store in the refrigerator or process for longer shelf life.
