Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Add the halved baby potatoes to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and tender. Remove the potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.
  4. Add the steak pieces to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute, or until the garlic is fragrant.
  6. Return the potatoes and steak to the skillet, along with the dried thyme and rosemary. Stir to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
