Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high, add shrimp and sprinkle with paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
