Cheesy Garlic Zucchini Steaks


  • 4 large zucchini, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the zucchini slices on the prepared baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the zucchini slices.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
