APPLE PIE FILLING COFFEE CAKE

This recipe of the cake is probably the easiest that I have ever tried! For a very cheap set of ingredients, you will have the best cake ever! I kid you not. I was so impressed by this cake that this was my 10th time baking it! By the way, I used apple flavoured filling for this recipe. You can also try a different kind of fruit or flavour. That’s the beauty of this recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

CAKE:

1 pack white cake mix (2 layers)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup sour cream

3 Eggs

1/4 cup water

1 (21ounces) can(s)apple pie filling

GLAZE:

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

1/2 tablespoon milk

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Apply cooking spray and sprinkle flour a 13×9-inch baking pan.

Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the cake mix, cinnamon, sour cream, and eggs. Beat until well mixed.

Step 4: Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan.

Step 5: Place a spoonful of the pie filling over the batter.

Step 6: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.

Step 7: Remove the cake from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.

To Make the Glaze:

Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, add the milk and sugar. Stir until well mixed.

Step 2: Spread the glaze over the cooled cake.

Step 3: Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

Add teaspoonfuls of milk if the glaze becomes too thick until you achieve your desired texture.

You can use a different flavour for the filling. You can try apple, strawberry, or blueberry.
