Ingredients:
- 1 x 9-inch uncooked pie crust
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan halves
Optional: Whipped cream or ice cream to serve
Instructions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Whisk the corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl.
Add the pecan halves and mix well.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust that hasn’t been cooked.
Put the pie on a baking sheet and bake it for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool.
If you want, you can serve the pie cold or at room temperature, with whipped cream or ice cream on top.
Enjoy !
