- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper. Stir to mix well.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a serving plate.
- If desired, spoon the sauce from the slow cooker over the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
