Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken

  1. Ingredients:
    • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup garlic, minced
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon black pepper
    • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
    2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper. Stir to mix well.
    3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
    4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
    5. Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a serving plate.
    6. If desired, spoon the sauce from the slow cooker over the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
    7. Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
