Ingredients:
- 1 graham cracker crust (9-inch)
- 2 cups root beer
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
- Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- In a saucepan, whisk together root beer, milk, cornstarch, and sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue to cook and stir until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
- Once cooled, fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving, if desired.
