Ingredients:
- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 cup crabmeat, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and carefully hollow out the caps to make room for the stuffing.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crabmeat, cream cheese, green onions, celery, parmesan cheese, garlic, and Old Bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the crab mixture and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle over the stuffed mushrooms.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Serve hot as an appetizer or side dish.
