- Ingredients:
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups cornflakes
- Optional: Chocolate chips or sprinkles for topping
Directions:
- In a large saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat and immediately stir in the peanut butter until smooth.
- Gently fold in the cornflakes until they are all evenly coated with the peanut butter mixture.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment-lined baking sheets. If desired, top with chocolate chips or sprinkles.
- Allow the cookies to set at room temperature until firm, about 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
