Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
Directions:
- Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
- In a bowl, mix buttermilk and eggs until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
- Dip each chicken breast first into the buttermilk mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
