Ingredients:
For the Salmon Sticks:
- 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
For the Old Bay Blue Cheese Dip:
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions:
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Place the beaten eggs in a second shallow bowl and the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
- Dredge each salmon stick in the flour mixture, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the salmon to ensure they stick.
- Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the salmon sticks in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- While the salmon sticks are frying, prepare the Old Bay Blue Cheese Dip. In a small bowl, combine the blue cheese dressing, sour cream, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
- Serve the fried salmon sticks hot with the Old Bay Blue Cheese Dip and lemon wedges on the side.
