Easy Pineapple Dessert


  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)


  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained crushed pineapple and instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir until well blended.
  2. Add the sour cream and mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  4. If using, stir in the shredded coconut and chopped nuts.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  6. Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving, if desired.
