Cheesy Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (for serving)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange triangles with points towards the center on a greased 12-inch pizza pan, overlapping dough edges.
  3. Press overlapping dough to seal and form a round crust, covering the pan completely.
  4. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain.
  5. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture over the crescent dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Top with salsa and sprinkle evenly with both cheeses.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with sour cream, green onions, and black olives if desired.
