Cheesy Garlic Bread

  1. Ingredients:
    • 1 large baguette or Italian loaf
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes for a spicy kick


    1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
    3. In a small bowl, combine the butter, minced garlic, and optional red pepper flakes. Spread this mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
    4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the buttered bread. Then, top with chopped parsley.
    5. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
    6. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
