- Ingredients:
- 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce on top of the butter and cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
