Baked Apple Pie Roll Ups

  1. Ingredients:
  • 10 slices white or whole wheat bread
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the crusts from the bread slices and use a rolling pin to flatten each slice.
  3. Spoon a small amount of apple pie filling onto one end of each slice of bread. Roll up tightly, starting from the filling end.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  5. Dip each roll-up in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.
  6. Place the roll-ups seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
