- Ingredients:
- 1 box angel food cake mix
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- Fresh pineapple slices and maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the angel food cake mix and the entire can of crushed pineapple (including juice). Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the baking dish.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cooled cake.
- Sprinkle the shredded coconut on top if desired.
- Garnish with fresh pineapple slices and maraschino cherries if desired.
