Strawberry Cotton Candy Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (3 oz) package strawberry gelatin
  • 1 (3 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup cotton candy, preferably pink

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin and vanilla pudding mix in 1/2 cup of boiling water. Stir thoroughly until completely mixed.
  2. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Once cooled, fold in the whipped topping gently to keep the mixture fluffy.
  4. Add the chopped strawberries and miniature marshmallows to the gelatin and pudding mixture. Mix gently.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Just before serving, gently fold in the cotton candy, allowing it to partially melt and swirl into the salad.
  7. Serve chilled for a whimsical and delightful dessert.
