Steak and Cheese Garlic Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen Texas Style Garlic Cheese Toast
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 12 ounces shaved cheesesteak meat
  • 3 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 3 slices Provolone cheese
  • Olive Oil or Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

How To Make Steak and Cheese Garlic Toast

  1. Preheat the oven to 350*
  2. Bake the Garlic Cheese bread according to package directions
  3. Set aside to cool
  4. Add some Olive oil to the skillet and heat the vegetables until they have softened
  5. Remove from the skillet and set to the side
  6. Brown the cheesesteak meat in the same skillet. Adding a little butter if needed
  7. Remove from the skillet and set to the side
  8. Place parchment paper on a baking tray
  9. Place the slices of garlic cheese bread on the tray
  10. Place a slice of provolone on each slice of bread
  11. Place a serving of the meat and vegetables on top of the provolone cheese
  12. Cover each with a slice of mozzarella cheese
  13. Cover with another slice of the toast
  14. Add butter to the skillet and place one ‘sandwich’ in the pan
  15. Lightly brown on one side, then flip over and brown the other side
  16. When the cheese has melted, the grilled steak and Garlic cheese sandwich is done.
