Mississippi Sin Dip

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Additional chopped green onions for garnish

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut off the top of the French bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about 1-inch thick walls.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, diced ham, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf.
  5. Place the filled loaf on a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  8. Garnish with additional chopped green onions before serving. Serve with bread cubes, crackers, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
