Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bag (14 oz) coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the coleslaw mix, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
