Low Carb Crack Slaw

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bag (14 oz) coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the coleslaw mix, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
