Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top.
- Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped pickles if desired.
