Ingredients:
- 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (like Tabasco)
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup beer (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- French bread (for serving)
Directions:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, thyme, rosemary, oregano, and beer (if using). Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the sauce. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley.
- Serve the shrimp hot with plenty of sauce for dipping, accompanied by French bread.
