- For the Lemon Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are light golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the brownies are baking, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice to create the glaze.
- Allow the brownies to cool slightly in the pan, then pour the glaze over the warm brownies.
- Let the glaze set before slicing and serving.
