Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions:
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs.
- Place the ribs in the crockpot, standing them up against the sides of the pot.
- Pour the apple cider vinegar into the bottom of the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat is starting to pull away from the bones.
- Preheat your broiler. Carefully remove the ribs from the crockpot and place them on a baking sheet.
- Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
- Broil the ribs for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
