Crack Cake


  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, for dusting


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil, and white wine (if using). Beat until well blended.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle over the batter in the pan.
  5. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar layer.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool for about 20 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
