Coffee Jelly


  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 2 1/2 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk


  1. Dissolve the instant coffee and sugar in hot water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and sprinkle the gelatin powder over the mixture. Stir well until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
  3. Add cold water to the mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into a square or rectangular dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  5. Once set, cut the coffee jelly into small cubes.
  6. In a bowl, mix together heavy cream and condensed milk until well combined.
  7. To serve, place the coffee jelly cubes in individual serving bowls or glasses and drizzle with the cream mixture.
