Classic Waldorf Salad

  1. Ingredients:
    • 2 cups apples, diced (such as Granny Smith or Gala)
    • 1 cup celery, chopped
    • 1 cup red grapes, halved
    • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)
    1. In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, chopped celery, halved grapes, and toasted walnuts.
    2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.
    3. Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
    4. Serve the Waldorf salad on a bed of lettuce leaves if desired, or as is.
