Ingredients:
- 1 package (36 cookies) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold milk
- 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, divided
- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding
- 3 1/4 cups cold milk
- 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust. Place in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese with a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Add 2 tablespoons of milk and granulated sugar, mixing well.
- Stir in 1 1/4 cups of the whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the chilled Oreo crust.
- In another bowl, combine the instant chocolate pudding with 3 1/4 cups of cold milk. Whisk for several minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Allow the dessert to rest for 5 minutes so that the pudding can firm up slightly.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours before slicing and serving.
