Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges, for garnish
Directions:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with Cajun seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and are opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges before serving.
