Tonight’s dinner of Shrimp, Sausage, and Spinach took about 20 minutes of prep time plus an additional 15 minutes to thaw the shrimp. The quickest way to thaw frozen shrimp is in a large bowl of cold water.

 Just place the shrimp you need for your recipe a bowl. I usually serve about 1/4 to 1/3 pound of shrimp per person. Cover with cold water and let the bowl sit on the counter for about 15 minutes. You can change the water once during the thawing time and this helps speed up the process.

Ingredients:

1lb shrimp

1lb sausage

1lb spinach

1 pkg Fettuccine noodles

8 oz Heavy cream

1 cup water

1lb sharp cheddar

1lb colby Jack

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Chicken bouillon powder

Parsley flakes

Ground black pepper

All spices to taste

Mix spices, cheese, water (or beef or chicken broth), and heavy cream to make sauce (less water & more cream, for thicker sauce).  Add all other ingredients… ENJOY

**If you don’t eat pork or can’t eat shell fish, try substituting chicken or using beef sausage👍**
