Apple Pecan Cinnamon Roll Bake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls, divided
  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and set the icing aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, chopped pecans, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
  4. Add the quartered cinnamon rolls to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the apple mixture.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
  7. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll and apple mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and the apples are tender.
  9. Drizzle the reserved icing over the top of the bake. Serve warm.
