- Ingredients:
- 2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Cooking spray
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan with cooking spray.
- In a large plastic bag, combine granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cut each biscuit into quarters and shake in the bag to coat.
- Layer the coated biscuit pieces and diced apples in the bundt pan, sprinkling pecans in between layers if using.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Pour the mixture over the biscuit and apple layers in the pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
- Allow the monkey bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve warm.
