- 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil, drained and chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened goat cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- If desired, sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Before serving, stir the dip and garnish with extra sun-dried tomatoes or fresh basil leaves.
Notes
- This dip pairs well with crispy pita chips, fresh veggies, or toasted baguette slices.
