Ingredients:
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon cinnamon)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish, stretching to fit.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the top crescent roll layer, and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar generously over the butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the crescent rolls have puffed up slightly and turned golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
