- 4 cups seafood or chicken broth
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 pieces jalapeños, diced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin

Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and diced jalapeños, stirring for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, broth, smoked paprika, and cumin. Bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they turn opaque and pink.
- Season the soup with salt and pepper as needed, ladle into bowls, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
