Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 and 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by a layer of pepperoni slices.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and place the top halves of the slider buns back on.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Brush this mixture over the tops of the slider buns.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes before slicing apart. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Feel free to add more toppings like bell peppers or olives for extra flavor.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
