Description
A rich and creamy Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Pie that combines a chocolate wafer crust with a fluffy peanut butter filling and topped with mini peanut butter cups.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 cups chocolate wafer crumbs for the crust
- 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted, for the crust
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup chocolate ganache for the filling
- 1 cup mini peanut butter cups for the topping
- Additional whipped cream for decoration
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chocolate wafer crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Place it in the fridge to set while you prepare the filling.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- In another bowl, whisk the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture, creating a light and fluffy filling.
- Pour in your prepared chocolate ganache into the peanut butter filling and mix until evenly blended.
- Spoon the luscious filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until set.
- When ready to serve, top the pie with additional whipped cream and sprinkle mini peanut butter cups on top.
- Cut into slices, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to use creamy peanut butter for the best texture.
- Allow the pie to chill for a longer time if you prefer a firmer filling.
- Feel free to add more mini peanut butter cups for extra decoration.
