- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a greased baking dish, lay down the boneless chicken breasts spaced evenly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the ranch dressing mix and 1 cup of chicken broth.
- Fold in the pepperoncini slices and a splash of their juice into the sauce mixture.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts, coating them well. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving on rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
