Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add the marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese until smooth and well blended.
  4. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti. Spread the cheese mixture over the spaghetti.
  5. Add the remaining spaghetti on top of the cheese layer. Pour the meat sauce evenly over the top.
  6. Dot the casserole with slices of butter and then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let the casserole sit for 10 minutes before serving.
