Jeow Som is a traditional Lao sour and spicy dipping sauce that is perfect for enhancing the flavor of various dishes.
Ingredients

- 10 Thai Chilies
- 6 Garlic Cloves
- 1 and 1/2 Limes
- 2–4 Tbsp Chopped Cilantro
- 1/2 Cup Fish Sauce
- 2 and 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
- Pinch of MSG
Instructions
- Combine your peppers, garlic, sugar, and MSG in your mortar, and mash it into a fine paste.
- Add your fish sauce, lime juice, and cilantro, and mix thoroughly.
- Taste and adjust for your perfect flavor.
- Serve and enjoy!
