Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, divided
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, beating until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle 1/4 cup of hot fudge sauce over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the hot fudge layer and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle the remaining hot fudge sauce over the top of the cooled bread before serving.
