Print Recipe

Delicious homemade cherry cheesecake egg rolls cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries)
  • 6 pieces egg roll wrappers
  • as needed cooking spray (or oil for brushing)
  • as needed powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the cherry pie filling until well distributed.
  3. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner facing you.
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese filling onto the center of the wrapper.
  5. Fold the corner closest to you over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll away from you, sealing the edges with a little water if needed.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the rest of the egg rolls.
  7. Lightly spray the egg rolls with cooking spray or brush them with oil to enhance crispiness.
  8. Place them in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer.
  9. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  10. Once cooked, remove the egg rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm for the best experience!

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth blending.
  • Cherry pie filling can be substituted with fresh cherries.
  • Cooking spray or oil enhances the crispiness of the egg rolls.
  • Dusting with powdered sugar is optional but adds a sweet finish.
