Description
Hibachi Chicken is a delicious and flavorful dish that features marinated chicken grilled to perfection, often served with garnishes like green onions and sesame seeds.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 pieces green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper. Add in the chicken breasts, making sure they are well-coated in the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Place it on the grill or skillet.
- Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken into thin strips. Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, and enjoy your homemade Hibachi Chicken!
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, marinate the chicken for the full 2 hours.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and ginger according to your taste preference.
