Scale
- 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (or 2 cans of sliced peaches, drained)
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to coat and set aside.

- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Spoon the peach mixture over the batter, distributing the peaches evenly.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving, preferably with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- Cover with aluminum foil if the edges brown too quickly.
- Serve warm for the best flavor.
