Description
A simple and delicious recipe for making crispy hamburgers in an air fryer, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pieces burger buns (toast in air fryer if desired)
- Optional Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, sauce of choice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well, ensuring the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions (about 4-6 ounces each) and shape them into burger patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 9-10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Check for doneness using a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C) for medium-well.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the air fryer. Toast the burger buns in the air fryer for an additional 1-2 minutes if desired, then layer your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- Choose good quality beef for the best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning according to personal taste.
- Ensure the air fryer is preheated for optimal cooking.
